The name Vallnord means many different things to different people, but we all can relate to the “small town” atmosphere and that pursuit of a perfect day on the mountain. While none of that is changing, there are many changes coming to our favorite resort.
In early 2022 it was announced that Pal Arinsal and Grandvalira reached an agreement to join together to promote Andorra and its resorts 365 days a year. Pal Arinsal is being incorporated into Grandvalira Resorts and a countrywide ski pass has been launched to provide access to all 303 km of Andorran slopes.
Starting from this season, multi-day ski passes will once again combine skiing at Pal Arinsal and Ordino Arcalís but with the added bonus of days at Grandvalira. Highlights of the merger include new restaurants, a new more professional look and feel, and perhaps most importantly the announcement for the development of slopes so you can actually ski between Pal and Arinsal rather than having to take the cable car. Can you even imagine!
